This jeep is a FORD GPW DOD 11 May 1945. All matching numbers 269655 stamped on original data plate, engine block and on frame rail. Body is original with 287566 stamped on front. Comes with clean Florida Title. Located in Spring Hill, FL 34608
I bought this jeep almost 25 years ago and have worked on it off and on ever since. The engine was rebuilt with maybe three miles on it with all new main and rod bearings with new timing chain with new seals, rings and gaskets. Head is original GPW. The carburetor is the correct 8 patent Carter Model 539$. The starter is GPW marked, Gen is Model GEG 5101 Auto-Lite. New paint job, voltage regulator is Model VRY 4203A Auto-Lite. Horn is correct Sparton. The jeep was completely disassembled and every part sandblasted and refurbished as needed. I would say that 90% of F script bolts were recovered. The GPW marked transmission was rebuilt with new gaskets, seals and if I remember right all NOS GPW gears. The GPW transfer case was rebuilt with new gaskets, seals and other parts as needed. The front and rear differentials were disassembled, inspected and new seals replaced. The steering was rebuilt with new parts as needed. The springs are all original GPW and is in good shape.
All gauges are original-small block F on oil press and AMP gauge, stewart warner on the gas gauge and temperature gauge, King Seeley on the speedometer.
The jeep came with vacuum wipers as evidenced by the factory hole in cowl for hose and the offset hood block to accommodate the windshield in the down position.
This jeep is equipped with (5) new Firestone tires mounted on 5 original combat rims and tubes, all new brake and gas lines, new master and brake cylinders, new battery, new radiator hoses, all new wiring harnesses, new windshield glass.
Headlights are original SEELITE and have been repaired.
Gas tank is original OLACO and has been repaired.Parts marked with script F:•Hood hinge•Safety strap rings•Drag link•Short tie rod•Brake drums•Front brake hose protectors•Spare tire support bracket•Master cylinder support bracket•Master cylinder inspection cover•Air filter crossover tube•Toolbox covers•Oil filter bracket•Gusset plates (TOP)•Transmission support bracket•Gas tank bracket•Blackout marker lights•Headlight buckets•Blackout headlight and bracket•Lower shock mounts•Emergency brake handle•Inside of front and rear differential covers•Clutch cross shaft•Accelerator linkage bracket•Brake and clutch pedal•Rear bumperettes•Driver and passenger seat•Footrests•Machine gun mounting plate•Front grill•Reproduction front bumper and repro rear seat•All (4) grab handles•Rear Axels•Pintle hook•Approximately 90% of all bolts•Left front fender is stamped with script F•Various other internal parts

I will help load but cannot arrange shipping. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. $500.00 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction ending. Balance to be made within 10 days of auction ending. Even though I have rebuilt this jeep it is thought to be dependable and complete, it is nearly 75 years old and cannot be guaranteed. It is not perfect; there are a few wavy sheet metal areas but will attest to the body's originality. Serious buyers are encouraged to come inspect and drive this vehicle. Additional photos will be available per request.
