1985 JEEP CJ7 CJ-7 258 6 CYLINDER 4 SPEED 73K ORIGINAL MILES STOCK SURVIVOR!

PLEASE INSPECT THIS JEEP IN PERSON BEFORE PLACING AN OFFER OR SELECTING "BUY IT NOW" OPTION! I want you to know what you are purchasing. In my opinion, there is no substitute for personal inspection of this vehicle. There is no way for me to describe all the details, flaws, blemishes, etc. on a 34 year old Jeep. Obviously sold "as is" and local pick-up only. Jeep is located in Brookfield, Wisconsin 53005. This is a 1985 Jeep CJ-7 with 73,153 original miles. The engine is a 258 in-line 6 cylinder, the transfer case is a Dana 300, the axles are AMC, and the transmission is a manual T-176. The transmission seems a bit loud to me, but the previous owner said it has been that way since he bought it in 2012. The Jeep has power steering, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, and of course is four wheel drive. The Jeep starts, runs, drives, shifts, and stops well. The four wheel drive works as it should (transfer case works). I have a clear Wisconsin title for the Jeep that is signed by the previous owner. The title will show that the buyer paid $500. The VIN # is 1JCCM87E7FT058484.

The dash lights and the exterior lights work as they should. The body has rust on it. I do not see any fluid leaks on the concrete below the vehicle when it is parked. The Jeep has a class 3 trailer hitch with wiring for trailer lights. There is a working stereo installed.
