Car description

This is a chance to own one of the prettiest Grand Wagoneer's on the East Coast painted in rare Colorado Red.To my knowledge there are only a handful of this color in existence - one being in Italy. My wife and I were lucky enough to find this one 7 years ago and I will probably regret parting with her.

I have all service records and receipts for purchases since I have owned her.Originally a New Mexico car for the first 20+ years of her life, then bought and painted by an LA guy that I purchased it from at 121,000 miles.

VIN #1JCNJ15UXHT061238

This car is a real head turner.I used her as my daily driver our first year in Massachusetts and then decided it would be better to let her sit the winters out.She is always garaged and meticulously cared for.But she likes to be driven, especially since she got the new engine and fuel injection in 2018.I did a lot of research on engines and instead of buying a reman or doing a simple rebuild, I found what I believed to be the best option of having a jeep specialist create a reman engine.

Virtually all new under the hood in 2018 at 138,000 miles:

·Remanufactured engine from Golen High Performance engines in New Hampshire, specializing in Jeeps.

·Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection system

·HEI (High Energy Ignition) Distributor to eliminate pesky ignition problems common in this model due to ignition control modules and coils

·Electronic fuel pump

·New spark plugs and wires

·All new radiator, thermostat, drive belts and radiator hoses

·All old emission controls disabled

Other information:

·All windows and door locks operational, as well as rear tailgate window (key option in rear window does not work but switch up front does.)

·4wd all in working order.

·Shifts smoothly/no transmission issues.

·Alpine Bluetooth stereo with Alpine speakers (have original radio.)

·New exhaust system and muffler.

· Professional headliner with insulated panel

Issues:

·Carpet in rear cargo area is torn.

·A/C works but has Freon leaks.Repaired lines and it worked for a summer but eventually leaked back out.

·Replaced transmission seals in 2014 but still leaks transmission fluid.

·Rust spot under paint on rear quarter panel.

·4wd light stays on even in 2wd.Have replaced switch and tried a few other things but gave up trying to solve it. 4wd and 2wd are correct, it is just the light that stays on instead of going off in 2wd.

·Driver rear vinyl wood sticker is different than others.I replaced as that one had issues. Not an exact match but is close.

Reason for selling is that my wife and I bought a small farm and we need a tractor and a shed to store it in.She isn't perfect, but she is pretty damn good. The value of these continues to rise, and I expect this one will since the color is so rare. Also, to be clear, she came from the factory in Metallic Brown and then was repainted before we got her.But you can see from the pictures that it was a really good job and all door jambs, interior panels are all red as they should be.

Miscellaneous parts, extra seatbelts, etc. to come with the car. Happy to answer questions, provide more pictures and make her available for inspection and test drives.Clean title is in hand.
