1978 Cherokee S Premium Package Wide Body

1978 Cherokee S Wide Body with the premium packageincluding factory A/C and Levi's interior. The engine is the 360 V8 4 barrel. The transmission is a 400 with the Quadratrac transfer case with low range. The Jeep still has the factory color Sun Orange. It was repainted at some time and they did not put the black stripes back on it. There is very little rust on this Cherokee as you can see in the pictures. The underside and the frame are clear of any rust. The Jeep has been sitting for some time and I am not a mechanic so I did not start the engine but I did reroute the gas line so no bad gas or anything else could run though. I installed a new starter and solenoid so I could turn the engine over and it turns over freely. It also has a newer battery. I do not know about the brakes or transmission because I have never driven the Jeep. The odometer shows 61013 miles. I can not say this is the true miles but with the condition of the Jeep and the original parts inside and out and under I would think the miles are right. Please see the pictures to help you with this. As we all know these Jeeps are in high demand and becoming very rare and expensive. Restored they bring a lot of money. This would be a great one to restore because of the condition or just make it run as is and have fun. The factory A/C is still in place but the compressor is missing.
