Car description

With an unusually well-executed paint job draped over its exterior to commemorate our country, this 1979 Jeep CJ7 is sure to attract attention wherever it may roam, but it offers more than just an ode to patriotism on four wheels. It's propelled by power that far exceeds what most of its fellow Jeeps are carrying and has been upgraded with a whole host of components both inside and out to not only add to its singular look, but to afford... an outstanding driving experience as well. When a ride is decked out in such a high impact fashion, it gets noticed while still in the distance, but as this Jeep draws closer, the details that really set it apart will come into view. Its patriotically themed exterior is well-crafted - the intricate paint scheme has a 3D quality and was no doubt a very high quality application when it debuted a while back and it's still in good form. From front to back, there's quite an array of exterior upgrades in place for even more visual impact. A pair of Auxbeam lights are perched on the gloss black ARB front bumper, a Carr lightbar is mounted above the windshield and at the sides a pair of Carr steps are mounted above diamond plate rocker covers. With sizable rubber at the corners and a nice lift added to the mix to increase wheel clearance, this CJ7 has a capable, road ready appearance to go along with its substantial visual impact. The CJ7 model was the first Jeep to have squared off openings at its sides to accommodate actual doors and there's a pair of them included with the car, as well as a bikini top, to take full advantage of the feature. A pair of aftermarket Mastercraft bucket seats are at the center of a well-configured interior, wearing blue and black covers that mix vinyl and cloth and are looking pretty clean as they join with the matching bench seat in back. Below, the contrasting carpet has been in place for a while but it's still pretty solid, especially for a vehicle like this that spends a lot of time in open air configuration. The custom painted dash and center console pays homage to the US Army, and the console has also been equipped with a pair of speakers to help fill the cabin with sound. You'll also find aftermarket speakers lodged below the seats and a pair of Kicker CVR subwoofers in back - also powered by a Pioneer stereo - so this Jeep provides a thoroughly quality audio experience. Plenty of power to navigate rugged terrain is on board via the 350 cubic inch V8 eagerly waiting to spring into action beneath the hood. It's armed with a 4 barrel carb and Edelbrock intake manifold and wears an assortment of polished components and a diamond plate shroud to up its eye candy quotient. The engine is running very strong, benefitting from a nice, hot spark from the upgraded HEI ignition and exhaling into a pair of Hedman headers. There's a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission sitting just behind it and 4-wheel drive agility is easily unleashed with a flick of the lever inside the cockpit. In all respects, this high impact mountain goat on wheels is in great running condition as it tackles obstacles on its set of sizable 35x12.5R15 BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires - its power steering makes it easy to navigate and power brakes that position discs up front bring quick, fade-resistant stops. Sure to attract a crowd and equipped with just the right mix of components to make for a great driving experience, this 1979 Jeep CJ7 is a standout ride. Call today!
