1985 Jeep Scrambler CJ-8 This was purchased approximately 2 years ago as a project vehicle and then the body was stripped down to the metal and then primed and painted Desert Tan. I just boxed them up and kept them if there were in good shape. I need to buy a Pickup truck and don't have the time anymore to devote to this project. The Jeep runs strong but could use some more attention. The brakes work but the booster needs to be replaced. The Jeep has disk brakes all around. There are four full steel doors that go with it. They do need to be completed. I stripped the red ones down and they need painting and they need new weather stripping. The black ones need new locking mechanisms. Some of the gauges work and some do not. I'm not the best at auto electronics. they are new but need someone with a little more experience than me! It has Flowmaster exhaust and headers. It has a twin stick transfer case. And it has a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. A previous owner installed the engine. transmission. transfer case. lift kit(three inches I believe) and the gauges and also fully boxed the frame. I have more pictures if you need them. It wouldn't take much to complete this project. but it is still fun the way it is! I believe that's all. if I think of anything else that I have done or needs doing I will update this listing.
