Car description |
---|
1966 Jeep Wagoneer. I bought this from the original family. It was purchased new in Portland Oregon in 1966 the owner kept it registered in Oregon but took the jeep up to Sequim Washington. In 1971 or 1972 He sold it to his Niece in Olympia Washington. I bought it from her. I have the original window sticker. This Wagoneer is a nicely option truck that came factory with 327 Vigilante V8 Engine a Turbo 400 transmission, Spicer 20 transfer case. 3.31 locking differential, E-Z Eye glass, Heater Defroster, Power steering. Power brakes, Power rear window.
I just installed new tires on original steel wheels which I had powder coated. The truck runs and drives well. the original interior is in great condition, the original headliner is very nice as are the carpets, seat covers and rubber rear mats and door panels. There are some small surface rust bulbbles in the front fenders, and work has been done on the rear quarters. I was told that the truck had a repaint in the late 1970's. It was painted the correct Prairie Gold (looks like GM butternut Yellow), but it was just a paint job. The original 327 was rebuild and I have some receipts and specs of the motor as well as a bunch of other receipts from the owners over the years.
I have been driving this Jeep around.Allthe lights, gauges, horn,radio,4x4,powerrear window, locks, and heater work as they should. It cruises nicely. This is an unrestored original Jeep Wagoneer.
