This is a 1982 Jeep CJ7 Body sitting on a 2000 Jeep TJ Frame. Conversion was done in 2012. Suspension is a 5.5" Rock Krawler Long Arm Coil Spring lift and Bilstein Shocks. The 4.2 Jeep I-6 sitting on Brown Dog Motor Mounts was fresh in 2012 and has a Clifford 4.0 Cylinder Head and intake installed along with a Howell TBI Fuel Injection Kit and Custom Exhaust.
Twin Optima Gel Batteries are controlled with a Painless Wiring Dual Battery Current Control System. An aluminum radiator and twin electric fans along with a FlowKooler water pump and Thermostat housing handles the cooling duties.
A Torque Flight 999 Automatic transmission and cooler was installed and is shifted with a B/M Shifter and sends its power through a Tom Woods Double Cardan Driveshaft.
Front axle is a Dana 44 with a Detroit Locker, 538 gears, Chromemolly axle shafts with Super Joints, Currie Antirock and stopped with Disc Brakes. Rear axle is a Dana 60 with a Detroit Locker, Moser 35 Spline axle shafts, 538 gears, Currie Antirock and stopped with twin disc brake calipers per side for a total of 4 brake calipers on the rear axle. The Dana 300 Transfer case has a twin stick conversion and also a TeraFlex 4 to 1 gear set installed. Tires are 37 x 12.50 x 16.5 Pit Bull Radial Rockers on Recentered Powder Coated Hummer Beadlock Rims.
Front Bumper is a Stubby that also serves as an air tank for the onboard air system. Rear Bumper is a Hanson Bumper with Spare Tire Carrier and High Lift Jack installed. Interior features Tan TJ seats with five point safety harnesses with a Tuffty Lockable Console with CB between them. A custom Double D dash was designed and fabricated and Powder coated and house's a complete set of Autometer Gauges, switches, CB speaker and Tuffty Lockable Glove box. Music is supplied by an MP3 and amp. Steering is through a Ididit Tilting Steering Column.
A Jeep Hard Top was cut in half to resemble a CJ8 top and is quickly removable and has a vinyl rear window and a Bikini Top can be installed.The Cockpit is separated from the cargo area by a CJ8 Bulkhead.
There are Front and Rear Roll bars and are tied in together which has all been powder coated. The roll bars are tied-into the frame. A rear cargo aluminum box was custom made and also a removable cargo rack that's mounts a shovel and axe is mounted on the roll bar.
A Warn 8000 Winch with steel cable and roller fairlead sits on the front and can be controlled from inside the cockpit.
There are Aircraft lights on the front and underbody lights to lite up the night. The Jeep has a textured Metallic Copper paint. Body armor protects the rear corners, Rock sliders protect the sides. Many odd and ends and spare parts are included.
