1983 Jeep Scrambler
* Very Original Scrambler except for repaint some time ago.* Has lived its life in New Mexico* Original 6 Cylinder - Runs Excellent* Original 5 Speed - New Clutch* Needs Nothing* Clean Title in My Name* 90% BF Goodrich All Terrain TAs
Details:I bought this Scrambler a few years ago after spending 6 months looking for a rust free Jeep. Unfortunately, most had been coated with bed liner or some other coating which was hiding the rust. There is no undercoating anywhere and is the original red underneath. This is a jeep from the desert, so there nicks, scapes and fading on the hood. Typical of New Mexico weather.
Since I have owned it, I have replaced the rear main seal, timing set, oil pan gasket, clutch, Shocks, ball joints, steering damper, leaf spring bushings, master cylinder, and much much more. The motor runs perfect and has 50 psi of oil pressure.
Unfortunately, since purchasing a lake house we do not have time to use it.
I encourage you to come inspect, or send an inspector prior to purchase. I will work with the shipper of you choice. You will not be disappointed. Additional pictures can be sent of specific areas.
$500 will be due within 24hrs, and the remaining in 7 days.
Thanks,
Jeff
