Car description |

1989 Dover Gray Metallic with Cordovan interior.
This is the one you've been looking for.
66,500 original miles.
Arizona vehicle with ZERO rust. Excellent body, frame and floor pans.
I just drove this, pulling my motorcycle, on a 1,300 mile road trip from Knoxville to Biloxi and back.
It currently has 66,500 miles, but I drive it daily, so the miles will increase.
Our restoration included all of our normal reconditioning. The engine was gone through and all fluids were changed. The exterior was professionally repainted in the original Dover Gray Metallic. All chrome was removed and polished and/or replaced with new. Interior and exterior window wipes were replaced all the way around. All new correct Marine Teak woodgrain was applied. The interior was stripped. The roof rack grommets were sealed to prevent future headliner sagging. The roof and floor was insulated. The original carpet was replaced with upgraded carpet. The original stereo remains, but the speakers were replaced. The center armrest was removed and replaced with one of our custom center consoles, which includes cupholders, additional power ports and rear air to the back seats. New white wall tires. New shocks. New brakes. New head gaskets. New water pump. Rebuilt carb. New fuel pump. R134-A AC Conversion. Thousands have been spent on bringing this beauty back to life.
You can search me on facebook under 'Classic Grand Wagoneers' to see more pictures and some of my past and current Grand Wagoneers and the work that goes into each of them. If this one is not for you, I have a few more in various stages of completion, so please check out my facebook page. I've also got some YouTube videos, and albums on my imgur account, but eBay won't let me post those.
This is a passion and a hobby for me. I love searching out and finding RUST FREE Grand Wagoneers. For every ten I go look at, I might buy one, simply because they are not what the sellers told me they were. I'll use them as my daily drivers while I fix them up, then find them new homes. I bought my first one in 1997, and have been doing one or two of these a year since then. I've even had some of these in television shows.
Please don't ask my reserve. If you know anything about these, you'll make a fair offer if you're seriously intersted. I'm asking less than what the "other restoration guys" ask, but more than most found on eBay. Donor vehicles and parts are getting harder and harder to find, so the amount of time and money it takes to redo one of these has been increasing greatly over the past several years.
With all that being said, it's being sold as-is where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Views and inspections are encouraged before bidding.
