Car description |
---|
Fiberglass tub, fenders, hood and windshield frame, painted purple haze base coat, pearl mid coat and high solids clear coat. The interior of the tub has been covered in Monstaliner truck bed liner. I used Monstaliner, because it is one of the few that does not fade in the sun.The interior has black buckets in front and black bench in rear that has been recovered to match the fronts. The rear seat folds forward for extra storage room. The Jeep has a family cage. Has aftermarket temp, oil, voltage gauges, and factory speedometer, tachometer that all work, the clock does not work. New heater core, GM truck blower motor that is a common upgrade, the original Jeep blower motors don't move enough air. I never hooked up the blower motor, because we only drove the Jeep on nice days, but it is new :)
New brakes, rotors, calipers, stainless braided brake lines. All new Poly bushings throughout the Jeep. All body mounts and suspension mounts, engine and transmission/ transfer case mounts are poly. Rancho shocks on all four corners.
Big block 454 Chevy engine dressed with polished intake, valve covers, plug wire holder, oil pan and Proform 750 Carb. The engine is internally stock, but runs great and is very strong. Coated shorty headers. Polished aluminum radiator with twin electric fans and shroud. Turbo 400 transmission that is BRAND NEW, with B&M shift kit. Barely used Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires on aluminum rims.
The jeep was taken down to a bare frame, sandblasted and assembled from the ground up. This was a fun project, but we found that we never use it.
