I have for sale AT NO RESERVE my 1983 AMC Jeep Scrambler. Before I get too deep in the details of this vehicle let me emphatically state there is no rust. rot. bubbles. body filler. patches or so called cancer in the body tub. fenders. floor pans. frame or hood of this vehicle. Minor surface rust at worst. This vehicle being an '83 has shoulder harness seat belts and wide track axles. The drive train is the I6 with the upgraded 4. 0 head conversion. 3 core radiator. Holley carb. Runs strong. T176 tranny and Dana 20 transfer case were both rebuilt in 2012. Clutch components were replaced at the same time. Gears are 3:54 ratio. Tires are 33" Nitto Grapplers with plenty of tread on them. About a 3" lift plus whatever the tires add. Chrome wheels need polishing. Power steering and power disc brakes. Factory spare tire carrier. TJ style mirrors. Fender flares are only a few yrs old and in great shape. It has a matching spare wheel but the tire isn't very healthy. Roof rack on top of the full hardtop. Some stainless steel accent parts around the vehicle. Inside is the all important tilt steering column working factory clock and tack. Has an all important working fuel gauge. Also a 20 gal poly fuel tank. The dash has a retractable compartment where the radio used to be. I use it for change. It has intermittent wipers. Two new speakers in the dash. Locking steel console in between the seats with a place for a radio and 2 cup holders. The factory nutmeg seats are in great condition. No cuts and the seams are not coming apart. They are not perfect but I'm certain you would be happy with the overall condition of them. The factory nutmeg dash pad has one small crack on the angled part of the dash in front of the driver. Also comes with a working 2000 watt Coleman power inverter mounted to the rear Rt. fender well in the back. I am also including a working Warn 5500 lb winch which can be mounted to the front. However I don't have to remote for it so until you get one you could jump across the terminals with a wire. It has a well built homemade rear bumper with trailer hitch and wiring. I have owned it since 2000 and never had it off road. The Jeep was born as an SR (not Laredo pkg) with a 5 speed tranny. 2:73 gears. no tilt column or PB. clock or tachometer. These were added later.
