Jeep cj 1978 - 4 speed 318 v-8 -4x4 fold down top moron

I purchased it in 2007 I put a new gas tank in & steering column& new tires. it runs good but the gears in the rear end are to low for high way driving. has 4 speed transmission it has a lot of power.
