Car description |

Only 422 of these 1968 Kaiser Jeepster Continental Convertibles were made, and even fewer with all the options this one has! Original Dauntless V6 with Turbo 400 Automatic transmission & Power Hydraulic Convertible Top! It is a rare, very original survivor with a very straight body. I am also including 2 very solid front fenders, as pictured. I searched high and low to find a Jeepster Convertible this solid and straight.
It's a blast to drive! Recent work includes:
· Complete new brake system; drums, wheel cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder & power booster
· Gas tank cleaned and braze sealed along seam, new fuel gauge sending unit, new rubber hoses and fuel filler hose.
· Power Hydraulic Convertible Top rebuilt & works!
· New spark plugs and wires.
· New fuel pump and fuel lines.
· Dana Model 20 Transfer case rebuilt
· Frame was stripped & coated with POR 15 with body off. Body/Tub floor top and bottom also stripped & coated with POR 15.
· Rear Differential rebuilt, U Joints replaced, new bushings in the rear springs and shackles.
· Includes all of the rare exterior aluminum trip pieces, even the small door tabs!
· Garage kept
· Clean title
· Will need fabric top and seat covers, both are available on eBay. See pictures showing example restorations in different color combinations. Finish it your way & pick the colors you like to make it your own!
· Will include all original top hardware pieces I have, fasteners, etc. Plus many interior pieces not shown, rear armrests, rear side door panels & more
· Almost forgot, also including a new transmission pan gasket & filter kit

adding bidder questions for additional info: its1224 Hey, cool jeepster! So the power top functions right now? Also, did you have to do any rust repair or does it need any of that done currently? How is all the glass, the windshield, door glass etc? thanks New message to: its1224 Thanks for your note, yes its a cool rig & people love it wherever I go. Yes, the power top works perfect now - raises and lowers with the flip of a switch. No rust repair was needed as the Jeepster is very solid & straight. The original body floor (top & bottom) was prepped, coated & protected with POR 15, as was the frame. The only repairs needed are with the front fenders, and I am including 2 replacement fenders that are in great condition. The glass is in really nice shape, no cracks or issues. All 4 windows crank up and down beautifully. Happy bidding & good luck! its1224 thanks for the info! couple more questions: does the exhaust system need to be replaced? how are the seats other than just needing covers? the doors align proper when closing or needing adjustment? New message to: its1224 Sure, the exhaust system is good with a new muffler installed recently. The original seats are actually in great shape, good frame & foam padding and will just need new seat covers to make them look like new. The panel fit & gap is really good all around on this Jeepster, the doors could use some minor adjustment to be perfect or are fine as is. Thanks
