Selling gpas 1982 Jeep CJ7 Laredo with 114,000 original miles. 1 owner jeep, clean 1980s title. the original bulletproof 258 inline 6 cylinder motor and the T-5 (5 speed transmission). This Jeep wears its original copper brown metallic paint, decals, & stripes! This Jeep is 96% original which is nearly impossible to find! The drivers seat, better carb, and radio are not original. The bumperettes, rims, all panels, gas lid and bezel, top, roll bar, center console, seats and belts, all of the dash gauges, the leather grab handle, the dash pad, steering wheel, ashtray, cigarette lighter, horn, all knobs levers panels and handles, mirror, pedals, bumpers, grill, light bezels and trim. taillights, badges, hitch, wipers, visors, under hood jack, battery mounts, etc etc are all original oem 1982!
The interior is the highly sought after "nutmeg" in color, and looks amazing with the paint color! One of the most beautiful jeeps ever made in my opinion!
The Jeep was always kept at the cabin and in its younger days was towed to Las Vegas 2-3 times a year. (Did have a tow bar on front and still has wiring that enabled it to have brake lights and blinkers behind the motorhome)
Jeep does have some cancer (rust) as pictured! Drivers side front fender has rust spot, as well as the floor panels and rust spots on hood from where the water would pdrip and pool on the jeep cover in the barn. Frame and wheel wells are great with little rust!! If being restored (great Jeep to restore as it's already original!... or daily drive!) those would need to be replaced!
Jeep starts with ease and runs good!! Shifts through all the gears great and doesn't pop out of gear! Clutch could maybe be adjusted to be slightly smoother! Heater, works as well as all the dash except the original fuel gauge and temp gauge don't seem to work all the time and the quartz clock ticks about 60% of the time!
All 5 tires have good tread. Power steering works AMAZING! Brakes are great and there is no shake.
Transfer case and locking hubs work as they should.
Exhaust and catalytic converter in tact.
This '82 AMC Jeep CJ Laredo would make an amazing restoration project or a fantastic daily driver!! Those in theAMC JEEP COMMUNITYknow how rare it is to find a all original jeep that hasn't been changed much from how it came off the factory floor! Does need a little work on some things but is almost complete after 36+ years and holding itself together!
Please feel free to ask any questions. call or text me at 435-228-8670. I can give the winning bidder a shipping or delivery by myselfquote if needed, just ask!Take a look at the pics, my OCD4AMCJEEP feedback score ratings and bid with confidence on the Jeep. I try and describeas best as I can and know this is a Jeep That hasn't been tweaked and changed more than it needs to and with some cleaning up would be AMAZING! It already gets compliments at every stop, I can only imagine the attention it would get after the right buyer gives it some love! Thanks for looking and best of luck bidding!

frame and wheel wells are still black, jeep floor panels are rusted through, rust almost through the drivers fender. a few rust bubbles near the rocker guards. clutch adjustment would help it shift a tad smoother in 3-4. would be wise to change all differential oil, transfer case oil, motor oil. maybe a good polish and hit the road!
