Very RARE 1983 CJ 5 Jeep Wrangler

1983 was the last year for CJ5. Of which AMC only made 3065 total. Of that around 300 were Renegade's. Here is you chance to own a piece of american history.

The motor, trans, differentials, seats, tub, hood, fenders, gauges, motor, top and doors, windshield, roll bar, floor pans, bumpers, grill, radio, so on and so on is 100% original., ( tires and rims in pic are not but I have the originals and all 4 chrome caps ) 100% everything works, and is pretty close factory. The original denim high back seat, denim dash ( small crack driver on side, and denim top and doors all with the AMC stamp. I even have the original AMC stamped key. Has all factory stickers, the vin sticker in the driver side lower door area, the warning stickers on the sun shades, the sticker on the windshield, the stickers under the hood

It was repainted about a year ago, and we put the black grey decals on.

now on the the jeep

6 cylinder 4 speed, dana 20 and 30, four high, low, 2 wheel drive, all works, no leaks, no rust. As mentioned above have original top, frame and doors. ( plastic windows replaced ) no rust, solid frame, original tub, hood, fenders, windshield, mirrors, all 100% attached from factory. Even has the original carter II carb. Normal wear parts have been replaced like break master, steering box, rear break lines, tires etc. You just turn the key and go. All gaugeswork, wiper motors, and the whole heating system works as it should ( one knob a little loose, pull it slowly) Still has the original factory installed am/fm push button radio and all works as it should. the speakers are original and work great ( the speaker mesh is wearing out but does not have anything to do with function. It is stored in temp controlled garage. It has 47k original miles and I still use it for parades and shows.

This Jeep has never been lifted, or any modifications to it.

The wire harness has never been clipped, chopped, spliced or tampered with.

There are no leaks, drips, or free running of any fluids.
