Jeep CJ-7 Laredo V8 loaded w/upgrades
You are bidding on a used, many consider collectable, Jeep CJ-7. This is a nice, well optioned and upgraded Jeep. The Jeep has a clean (no accidents or issues) AutoCheck report as you can see attached here to the listing. The Jeep has spent most of it's life down South and out West. Purchased in Utah and shipped here to Michigan a few years ago by my longtime friend (I am selling it for him here). The prior owner owned the Jeep for years and had all the work, modifications, etc. listed above done (which is where the information came from). Since my friend bought it the only thing he wanted to update and did is the gas tank, fuel pump and sending unit replaced (as noted above). Spending it's life down South and out West, (no snow/salt) the frame and undercarriage are in nice condition without the rust, etc. you would find in a Jeep of this age if it were a Michigan Jeep. The body sheet metal is also in good condition without the rust/rot you would see in a Jeep if it had spent it's life in Michigan. There are a few areas with dings, etc. that have surface type rust on them (as the Jeep is not a "trailer queen" or anything like that, it is a Jeep that can be driven daily). The friend I am selling this for looked for a nice, modified, Jeep for a long time before finding this one and he spent a good amount of time communicating with the seller, etc. to decide it was a good Jeep before he bought it. However, since purchasing it he started a new business venture and really has not been able to drive the Jeep much as he has no spare time. Rather than continue to just let it sit stored in his garage he has reluctantly decided to sell the Jeep and put the money into expanding his new business. This Jeep runs and drives nice. The performance engine sounds powerful with the performance dual exhaust. The Jeep is setup for the best of both worlds - It is great to drive around town, on the highway, etc. but has all the full abilities to take it off road and hit the trails. The Jeep is sharp looking and gets compliments all the time. It is being offered here for a fraction of what has been put into the Jeep and less than he paid for it. I understand it can be hard purchasing an item like this via the web, sight unseen, etc. You only have the seller's history, reputation, the pictures, etc. to go on. Therefore I have posted quite a few pictures and tried to provide a detailed description to the best of my ability. I have bought and sold many, many cars (mostly older collectable cars), bikes, and boats via ebay and the web over the years and I try hard to do my best to make every transaction complete successfully - as I will do here.
The winning bidder is responsible for pickup / shipping / transportation / etc. of the Jeep. There are a number of good shipping / transport companies and I have shipped many cars, boats, motorcycles, etc. and I can assist the winning bidder with the transport, shipping, etc.I can also deliver the Jeep as long as I am compensated for gas, time, etc. (within a reasonable distance) as I have a trailer I could transport it in. The Jeep is located in Northville, MI (Novi is about 20 minutes West of Detroit Metro Airport).
Winning bidder to contact the seller within 24 hours of the auction's end and a non-refundable $250 deposit must be received within 24 hours of the auction's close. The remaining balance is due within 6 days of the auction ending or at the time of pickup / delivery / etc., whichever is sooner. If other arrangements are needed please email me to discuss prior to bidding. The vehicle is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to cancel the auction, bids, etc., at any time for any reason. Bidders with feedback less than 10 or less than 98% positive must contact me prior to bidding. Now the standard verbiage: All information contained here is per the information available to me, as explained by owners / prior owners, records on the item, etc., etc. and its accuracy is to the best of my knowledge. I have tried to be as impartial, fair and accurate as possible regarding the item and it's condition at the time of listing and as stated here and as is standard with the sale of used motorized items of this type - this item is being sold as is and as described to the best of my ability, with no warranty expressed or implied and the sale is final when full payment is received and item is picked-up / shipped / etc. You are bidding on a used vehicle, with all the expected use/wear/ tear and age issues, cosmetic flaws, blemishes, etc. you may see on an item of this age (i.e. dings, nicks, scratches, chips, leaks, tears, peeling, cracking, scuffs, drips, wear, corrosion, oxidation, dents, rust, tarnish, misc. repairs....etc.). In bidding here you are entering into a legally binding agreement to purchase this item, if you are the winning bidder you will have purchased the item, not the option to decide later if you want the item or not. You are welcome to inspect the item, ask questions, etc. and I encourage you to do so prior to bidding, especially if you have any concerns or questions regarding the item and/or its condition, just contact me and we can arrange a time. Thank you again for looking.
