Introduced in 1962 the Jeep Wagoneer is widely credited for being a pioneer of the luxury SUV formula. While sharing traditional ladder frame pickup truck chassis the Wagoneer had a sophisticated station wagon body design that was more carlike than any other 4x4 on the market. This example is finished in an elegant shade of Black Cherry Pearl with the traditional contrasting woodgrain trim. The paint is in good shape and has excellent gloss and the body is nice in straight. The woodgrain trim is solid but does show some fading and peeling that is common with these. Chrome trim is generally very solid with just a little bit of marks here and there. The exterior is bolstered by 15in alloy wheels woodgrain roof rack rain guards and rear rain deflector. The interior is in excellent shape and is very comfortable. The Cordovan red interior shows very little wear and the seats are in great condition. The dashboard is clean and original and looks great.
