This is a 1981 Jeep Scrambler. This is an incomplete restoration but doesn't need much to finish. All the hard work is done. It was my son's project, but his work transferred him to the west coast, so he can't complete it. It has a four and a half inch lift kit that was professionally installed. It included the correct shocks and steel brake lines. It has a brand new wiring loom by painless which was also professionally installed. It has a 4.2 L inline 6 with new alternator and electronic ignition/distributor. It starts and runs but we have never had it out of the driveway. It has new turn signals both front and rear as well as a chrome grill insert. It has nearly new 35 inch by 12.5 inch tires. It has new chromoly rear axle shafts and a new differential gears with a gear ratio of 4.56. It comes with a tow bar which attaches to the front bumper and allows you to flat tow the vehicle. It has a rear seat in the bed which came out of a Jeep CJ7 complete with seat belts. It has a new speedometer and we will furnish the old speedometer with 43,000 plus miles on it. When we bought the Jeep in Aug 2008, the owner told us that was the original miles. The Jeep is rust free with one small exception on the rear tailgate. It also has a dent in the left front fender. We are enclosing pictures of that area. We have many new and used parts which comes with the Jeep that is too numerous to list. Some of the more important parts are a high-lift jack and a 4 light, light bar. It has new outside rearview mirrors and a Bikini top. You can see most of these items in the attached picture. I will be glad to furnish additional pictures upon request.
