selling my 1985 cj-7 spring special jeep..this is a california jeep since day 1..spent most of its life around or near santa cruz..it has a clean carfax and autocheck..it has the paint option as you can see on the firewall tag with the paint code 5c which is red metallic..however the seats were change out and are not correct for this edition...still a pretty solid california jeep..it has a couple spots of surface rust on the windshield frame and near both jeep name plates on the sides..it runs great down the road and the tags are still current as it just pass the tuff smog test in california a few months ago...starts up and idles just fine..i have been driving it all week up and near the rocky mountain area..it was service with a tune up and new water pump as the other one was leaking...rear diff fluid and tranny fluid were also serviced...it has 116k miles on it..the hard doors have no splits on the upper part of the metal near the window on the inside...has the 5 speed with the amc 20 rear end...tires are in decent shape...all the outside lights work and horn blows...4wd works as it should...all gauges work except the gas and oil pressure...radio does not work..this is a good looking jeep that is pure enjoyment to drive...the jeep only has the hardtop...has power steering, power brakes and since it is from california it has just the 1 serp belt on the engine...this is a used jeep that is 32 years old...that being said its not new!! jeep is located in denver..paint looks good but showing a little fading on the hood...the jeep was repainted over 15 years ago...still puts out a great shine!! if you like more pictures or have any questions please ask...thanks for looking...these spring special jeeps were only made for the 1985 year model...not that many still out there...
