Immaculate 1981 Scrambler Original!!! Car has been meticulously maintained, and it shows. Newly recovered seats and Wheels and tires are in great shape. This was purchased on ebay about 10 years ago, and we have put 4-5k miles on it since. It runs perfectly, shifts perfectly, and the miles are believed to be original. A few things on the truck are not original. The hood and front fenders have been resprayed, and the graphic kit is not original. The hood and fenders are steel original jeep metal, no Foreign reproductions. The bed has been professionally lined with the Spray In liner. Inspection from underneath shows no rust of any kind on the body or frame. Extremely rare for that in the northern states. It was purchased in Pennsylvania, but had to have lived the majority of its life in a southern or dry state. There is no hiding rust on an original CJ. The floorboards are original, and in perfect condition. The tires are super cool retro All Terrains that still ride smoothly, and give it an awesome look. The rims are not original Jeep rims, but we do have a set of originals for an additional price. Original Laredo Rims in good shape can go for thousands of dollars. The value of these vehicles just keeps going up, and this one is an amazing looking and driving Jeep. The engine compartment is exactly as pictured in the photos. The A/C unit is an original Jeep unit from a late 80's YJ, and requires a few additional parts, and a charge to work. Fan does work, as does radio, heat, and original Markel Lights. This jeep really needs to be seen to be appreciated. It is located in Steubenville, Oh, 43953 about 35 minutes west of the Pittsburgh Airport. Our goal is for you to be 100% satisfied with the Jeep, so please dont hesitate to request additional pics, or send me an email with additional questions. This is not a body off restoration, and does have 54,xxx miles, and being driven occasionally, but it is as near perfect as a vehicle of this age can get. You will love driving this jeep, it is as quiet, and smooth as you will find. We have owned over a dozen jeeps from a 1947 Willys CJ-2A, and 4 Scramblers, to Modern JKs, and this is an extremely nice example,. Good luck! This Jeep will not last!! This Jeep is listed for sale locally and can be removed at any time. Thanks for looking!
