Frame on resto- block send to Carolina Engine with 291C heads for rebuild at 141000. Original rear end, so you won't smoke a mustang from a dead stop, but you will stomp his arse from 40-80. :-)Great truck, but I have a 1967 Commando that just finished a 3 yr restoration and a new Vette; I tried to get my wife to give up the 3rd spot in our garage. Please don't ask me for the reserve amount or I'll let you talk to the wife. I've got over 20k in Bertha, but I know I won't get that back - your gain. I married the wife after I started with Bertha. The wife hates Bertha; her height, the subwoofer behind the passenger seat, the fact the wife can't see over the dash - all of Bertha is hated.
Yes, I would drive Bertha across the country. It would just cost less to trailer her (fuel).
