I have a neet little 1974 Jeep CJ5 Renegade I'd like to see go to a good home. It's mostly original except the 304 was replaced with a reman 360 but is not currently running. Overall the body is pretty good with some rust spots here and there but nothing too bad. The brakes have recently been redone. The pedal is rock solid & the fluid is perfectly clear. The lil Jeep was running and driving last year until an ignition bug sidelined it. I found out the teeth on the cam that drive the distributor are worn. After some research I found this is a common problem if one buys the cheapo Chinese HEI style dist. Apparently they're not machined correctly and the gear is made of a harder material than the cam. Not good. The inside of the motor looks clean and there is a rebuilder tag on one of the valve covers. I do not know the mileage on the motor. The Jeep has had the front floors replaced and there are a couple rust spot in the back. It still have it's original Renegade aluminum wheels. They must be south after because I've had at least a half dozen people want to buy the wheels. The tires are respectable, brakes are excellent, exhaust system is good. It wouldn't take too much to have it road worthy again. I simply have too many projects or I'd love to have it as a weekend/nice weather driver. Speaking of weather, I do not have a top, doors or key. I do have a good clear Nebraska title. For more info call or text 573-230-6222. Thanks for taking the time to look at my Jeep.
