1970 Jeep Jeepster Commando - Project

Up for your consideration is this1970 Jeepster Commando project. The vehicle is currently apart in the state you see in the pictures but will roll onto a trailer.I bought this with the intention of finishing it but things havechanged so I will be selling it. Bought about a year ago fromlast owner who did quite a bit of the hard work to it. The frame has been sandblasted and painted with POR15 rust preventative paint.A 2 inch spring lift kit has been installed. The axles have been reconditioned and include new wheel cylinders.It has a new set of 15x10 white spoke wheels a new gas tank and sending unit. Theengine is the original 225 Dauntless V6 that has been professionally rebuilt and has not been started or run since putting back in vehiclesome years ago. (engine has been turned over by hand) Engine has a Wieand intake and currently no carburetor. Engine is mated to the original 3 speed transmission, however I am including a parts commando that has an automatic and will go with this sale. The transfer case has the dual stick modification for ease of use. The entire drivetrain is installed in the vehicle.

The bodyhas been sandblasted and ready for rocker panel repair and floor repair. Looks like the previous ownerdid a crude but pretty strong floor replacement that could use more work. The fenders are in good shape only 1 or 2 small areas of rust through. I have 2 hoods in good shape, 2 grill assemblies, 1 good tailgate with no rust through. There is also a repairable rare 1/2 top with the bulkhead assembly. These are very hard to come by. I have a ton of parts from the parts jeepster that is included. No hunting around for parts as you're getting two cars to build one. Much of the hard work has been done and needs finishing by someone more knowledgeable than me. Also included is the original service and owners manual,receipts including the engine overhaul receipt, the completeofficial Jeepster parts manual, original dealers ID tag plus other stuff.
