Survivor cars are rare, but a survivor Jeep was unthinkable... until now. This 1991 Jeep Wrangler is a genuine 13k-mile machine with shimmering factory paint and a showroom-quality interior. So we're not sure if we should call this the ultimate go-anywhere 4x4 or a museum piece! We already love the Wrangler generation because it was where the military Jeep image merged with some premium flair. After all, the Wranglers were sold to those who wanted to go out on the town Friday night, but then get up early on Saturday morning to get to the fishing camp. And this one captures that attitude the best. After all, the original Radiant Fire paint still lives up to its sizzling name thanks to meticulous care and always being garage-kept over the last 26 years. In fact, the whole Jeep has a time-machine level of quality on original tight-fitting soft top, bright steel wheels, perfectly aligned half-doors, and barely a scratch to be found anywhere!Inside this time capsule feeling continues. These Wranglers arguably had the best dash layout of any generation. The speedo and tach laid out directly in front of the driver for proper ergonomics. Then the rest of the gauges spread wide across the center to remind everyone that this was a serious machine. And more than just functional, this one drives the point home about how it's also good for a night out on the town with great upgrades like the full carpeting, heavy-duty floor mats, and wood veneer dash. Plus, underneath those premium seat covers you'll find the factory bucket seats that are so fresh, you still perfectly see the Jeep logo stitching. And because even the prettiest of classic Jeeps still needs to remain functional, this one has been upgraded with two Tuffy lockboxes. And the one in the center console also houses the AM/FM/cassette stereo. That way you can feel secure about leaving this Wrangler open to the world, no matter where you park.Under the hood is the numbers-matching 2.5-liter motor. And on a survivor this well preserved so far, you'll love that this one remains honest right down to the original factory jack in the engine bay. This motor was derived from the tough-as-nails AMC line of motors, and so you get durability and economy. Plus, with fuel-injection and the control of the five-speed manual transmission, this is always a lively machine. Add in the power steering and front disc brakes, and you won't be able to resist adding to that amazingly low odometer reading. But while this is an amazing survivor, the 4x4 drivetrain with two-speed transfer case means it's always worthy of the go-anywhere Jeep name. We are truly astonished that an amazingly preserved Wrangler like this exists. So if you miss out on this one, there might never be another. Call today!!!
