1989 Jeep Cherokee Limited with Snow Plow It’s a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4 door. 4wd with a 4. 0L. automatic transmission. and a Snowbear plow. the inspection ran out 7-11. it has 171. 61 miles. This Cherokee has been sitting since last winter. I tried to start it our last snow fall but it wouldn’t start. I never had any problems before. I checked for spark. and it is very weak at the plugs and the plugs are gapped around 70. burning great. clean. the cap and rotor are pretty shot. I’m sure with a cap. rotor and new set of plugs the old girl would fire right up. Everything works as it should; the body. floors. and rear deck are in great shape. I repaired the rockers a few years ago. they are starting to come through a little. easy fix. could be done in a couple of hours. The interior is good. leather seats. no rips. the head liner is loose. but I fixed that with twist in tacks. put a new radiator in it two years ago. The only issues I know of. is the windows front drivers and passenger sides are slow going up and down. common problem on these older Cherokees. I looked on line and they can be fixed without a lot of trouble. I did remove the entire window mechanism. driver’s side from a 1989 Cherokee that I had to replace this one. but never got around to it since I only use this Jeep in winter for plowing. I also have extra parts. wheels and tires. rear window. front axles. taillights. more. I have had a bunch of these Cherokees. had 4 of them here at one time. these 4. 0s are diehards. this is a good running engine. never smoked or used any oil. I always kept it changed and it is clean now. The motor for the plow. needs replaced. electric motor for up and down. manual angle. $100. I use to take it off every year. and run the Jeep. as my daily driver. but left it on the last couple of years and the brushes corroded. by the time I bought brushes and repaired the motor. I might as well buy a new one. has a hand crank so it can be lifted and lowered by hand if need be. the motor can be bought direct from Snowbear. I have all the paper work for the plow. No shipping on this Jeep. it must be picked in Trout Run. Pa. 17771. If you have any questions. please don’t hesitate to ask. I will answer the best I can. If you are local you are more than welcome to come check it out before you bid. as I said it has been sitting for at least a year so there is no guarantee or warranty. it is being sold as is. also this Jeep has a reconstructed title and the prior title state was Texas. it now has a clear Pa. title that was issued to me on 11/20/06. was Pa titled on 5-13-94.
