Car description

Up for sale is a 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The 1991 Grand Wagoneers were the last year these were in production and were dubbed the "Final Edition". I could give you the big sales pitch but if you're looking atthis, you already know that these pretty much sell themselves so I'll try and be as transparent as possible. Odometer shows a little over 165,000 miles but the engine has been completely gone over (I'll list what has been recently done below) and runs like a top. The interior is good for it's age; the front bucket seats are cracking a little but the rear seats are in great condition. All windows are powered and roll up and down on their own. However, the rear tailgate window only works from the outside and not the dash switch. It might just be a new switch but I haven't looked into it. Also, the powered side mirrors work when they want to and the front fog lights aren't working. Again, it might just be a simple electrical fix but I haven't been bothered enough by it to fix it.
It is a rare forest green, and what I've found is there were only about 150 produced for the '91's.In addition, it has the optional roof rack and rear spoiler. The previous owner had gotten it repainted. It's very presentable as you can see in the pictures but it could use a nice buffing/polishing. When they had it repainted, I don't think the trim was laid down as well as it could have and could be re-set. It also looks like there was some rust starting on the bottom of the doorframe that I have tried to show in the picture.
In the last couple months, this thing has been completely gone over, fixing any mechanical hiccups or leaks. Right now, with a couple of pumps of the gas pedal, it's turn the key and go.
Recent fixes/upgrades have been:
  • New 2 bbl carburetor
  • New radiator
  • New fuel pump
  • New plugs/wires
  • HEI distributor conversion
  • New tires
  • New battery/Cables
  • New steering pump lines
  • New head cover gasket
  • New oil pan gasket
  • New rear main seal
The pictures tell most of the story here. I've tried to be as upfront as possible but if I'm leaving anything out or you have any other questions, feel free to ask. For a 26 year old car with 165k on it, it's in great shape but not quite a $40,000 show piece that you'll see on here and I've priced mine accordingly. As interest and the market for these gets bigger by the day, grab this icon while you can and turn some heads as you float on by.
Vehicle is sold as is, without return or warranty. So again, if you have any questions, please ask before bidding/buying. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping. $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of sale and payment is due within 72 hours. I will be listing it locally as well and reserve the rightto end the auction early. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!
