1979 JEEP CHEROKEE CHIEF S WIDE TRACK 52,989 MILES QUADRATRAC SJ WAGONEER

Up for sale is my 1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief S Wide Track 2 Door with Quadratrac four wheel drive with 52,989 miles on it. Clean title in hand. Came out of Arizona and I would say is 98% rust free; only been in Michigan the last couple years and never driven in winter here. A great start for a restoration or resto mod. I started a restoration on it and like many others have lost the time/will to complete it. The interior is out of it, but I do have all the pieces and trim including all the seats, door panels, glass, all required parts to make rear window work, and more. All the brakes have been gone through and work properly. The engine is a 360 V8 with 2 barrel Holley carb, brand new radiator and runs ok without smoking, but that is as far as I have gotten. As far as the body it is almost entirely rust free besides some surface rust you see in the photos. Underneath is in great shape, brake lines, fuel tank, etc good. The drivers and passenger floor boards have some rust because at some point the carpet got wet in the foot wells but it is not bad. I do have patch panels if that is the way you would want to go. Bottoms of doors and tailgate are solid with a small amount of surface rust. Overall very rust free but I want to be upfront with what is there. Rockers, frame, wheel wells, and body are all solid. I was told the axles are Dana 44's. The vehicle is equipped with A/C and cruise but I have no idea if either one works.
