This is a solid, southern CJ5 in above average condition for its age. To my knowledge, it’s been a NC/SC Jeep all its life. I purchased this from a close friend that is downsizing their collection. It was driven occasionally over the past ten years. It’s powered by the original 304 V8. At one point, it was converted to a TH350 using the Advance Adapter kit. The previous owner had the transmission rebuilt by a reputable shop. B&M ratchet shifter. Barks the tires going into 2nd! Power steering. Odometer reads 66,556 and is operational - The title is mileage exempt. The rust on fenders has been there for ten + years. It was treated at that time and has not spread as the vehicle was covered. The frame is solid. Carpet and seats average condition. Modifications include: · Grant steering wheel · Rough Country lift · Aluminum wheels and 35” tires · Radio/heater delete · Aluminum intake, Holley carb, headers, mild cam · Flowmaster 10 mufflers (one needs replaced due to lose internals) · Shackle reversal (improves handling) · Original soft top, doors, bikini top and newer Rain Gear trail cover Speedometer, odometer, gas, voltage, oil pressure and water temp gauges all work. Headlights, turn signals, brake lights and windshield wipers are also operational.
