Car description |

I'm selling my 1981 Jeep CJ-5 to pay my hospital bills due to cancer. It was my daily driver until the clutch went out. A family friend put the part on and never finished putting it back together. I would say its about 90% done. It has a 4 inch leaf spring lift (from Quadratrac) with 31 inch tires with very few miles. It has a 6 cylinder motor and 3 speed trans with a granny. Power steering. Odometer shows 14k but who knows. Tub is in good shape for its age and floors are good. I also have a hard top and doors to go with it. I still have the old fender so you can put the flare on the passenger side. I also have a new dash that will go with it. The shifter knob is an actual rock that has a small point on the one side that I would put between my fingers when shifting.
I believe this Jeep is still a good candidate for restoration of GM conversion. Or, just finish putting it back together and drive as is. (I did notice someone clipped one tail light since I took the pictures and it has a corner broke out of it).
I ask that you bring cash or money order with you when you pick it up. You will need to trailer it since it's not completely back together. And, unless you make other arrangements, please pick up within a week of auction ending.
