Car description

This is a 1986 Jeep Comanche Long Bed Pickup Truck. I purchased this truck about 6 month ago as a running project. It has 122,000 original miles and runs really well. It has the original 2.8l V6 that was offered for the first year of production. The engine was very under powered for the truck, especially a lifter truck. I have however done some modifications to the engine that has really woken it up. First off, it has two new remanufactured big valve heads along with new felpro headgaskets and bolts. I have also added a stainless steel header system and a weber 38/38 outlaw carburetor. Once all that was completed, I added a new fuel pump, spark plugs, water pump, radiator, engine mounts, oil pan gasket, distributor gasket, valve cover gaskets, intake gaskets, and added a high powered electrical fan. The engine runs great and starts up every time. It also runs nice and cool.It does however leak some oil still. I beleive it is actually coming from the oil filter or fuel pump gasket. These are two area that will be repaired before selling.

The suspension when I got the truck had a 3.5 inch lift on it with add a leafs in the rear. I have since upgraded it to a 6 inch lift. This consists of new rubicon express front coil springs, new rx100 Rusty's shocks, new extended brake lines, new heavy duty adjustable traction bar, front control arm drop brackets and a drop pitman arm. In the rear I did a spring-over-axle lift using Barnes4wd Anti wrap perches welded to the axle. The rear also has new rusty's rx100 shocks and new shock mounts welded directly to the axle tube. It also has lift shackles. At that time, I added a brand new set of 33x12.5 R15 tires. As of right now they have about 150 miles on them

The body is in very nice condition and is 99% rust free. There is a small amount of rust right under the battery but that is it. The floors, bed, frame and rockers are all perfect The truck was repainted darker blue at some point and is in ok condition. It could use a good buff and it does have some scratches and chips here or there. The hood has one small dent in it where the original carburetor bracket hit it when the hood was shut.

The interior is in ok shape. The original bench seat was swapped out for cherokee bucket seats by the previous owner. It also has a nice aftermarket center console that has plenty of storage and is lockable. The CD player is old and sort of of finicky but it does work. The radio works fine. Some of the interior plastic does have some minor cracks and the headliner is not the best but is not noticeable unless you look up.

Transmission shifts nicely and the 4 wheel drives works just as it should.

All of the upgrades mentioned have been done within the past 4 months.

I will try to add more info as I think of it and will add more pictures. Please ask any questions you may have.
