Up for sale is my 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. I purchased this Jeep about 6 years ago on Ebay from a dealer in Illinois. I had a mechanic go thru the Jeep and replace fluids, filters, all new brake components, tune up and entire 4-wheel drive system checked at that time. It has been a daily driver since then . I did put a new set of $ 400 Goodyear Wranglers on it last year ( still have blue die on letters ) shortly after that i started having a small oil pressure loss. I took it to my mechanic and he said the main & rod bearings were going bad. Instead of pulling the motor at that time, we replaced the oil pump, timing chain, main & rod bearings to see if i could get a little more time out of the engine. After all that, the oil pressure was still low and he determined the cam bearings were also going. We both decided it would be best for a total overhaul was the best option. The body is in very good shape with only a couple of rust areas on the rear quarter panels and a little around the rear side windows. It could use a new paint job & new woodgrain ( the woodgrain trim is in good shape ). Also, it has a rusted out fuel tank skid plate and an area that is rusted on the frame ( which was very common on these Jeeps, see pic's ) I have a like new fuel tank skid plate, rubber liner, new straps, new fuel gauge and frame repair kit ( made by Team Grand Wagoneer ) just for this common Jeep problem that comes with the Jeep. All of these parts are about $ 680 at Team Grand Wagoneer. The interior is in very nice condition for it's age. No rips or tears in leather. One little wear spot on driver's seat and the bottom of the folding armrest and that's it. The roof liner needs to be re-glued and the over-head console liner redone and you have a very nice interior. I replaced stereo with a new period correct Jenson cassette player and 4 new speakers. These Jeeps are getting harder and harder to find in this condition. This Jeep is a prime candidate for a full restoration to bring it back to its full glory.
