Car description

I have for sale a "slightly modified" and very trail worthy 1978 Jeep CJ5. Seats 3 adults across up front. It's a turn key wheeler built for the tightest and most difficult trails of the Pacific North West Region. If you've wheeled here you know what I'm talking about.I personally built this thing with my own two hands. Ton's fabrication work not reflected in the sale price. There's only a touch of half-assery in the build. Couple items should probably be addressed. Vent line off the fuel cell should be tied into the existing stock charcoal canister on the firewall, rollover check valve should be installed and the coolant overflow reservoir needs a proper mounting. Big fat zip ties hold it in place currently and has for several years. Aside from that the rig is solid in every other way.I do occasionally drive it on the street and have never been hassled by the LEO's, ut it's mainly a dedicated wheeler. Every drivetrain/powertrain component is new within the last 2 summer wheeling seasons. I only drag it out about 4 times during the summer. It stays parked in my garage rest of the time.Basic Price ListReman 4 bolt main SBC 350 with roller cam $2,800Gears/Lockers $2,000Rebuilt D300 with 4:1 low range $1,200One Ton Hi Steer $1,000Used wheels/tires $1,000D300 to SM420 Adapter $500New Engine Wire Harness/Computer/Chip $400Throttle Down Customs xmbr/skid $400D44 5x5.5 conversion $400D44 alloy axles $300M.O.R.E.
