This is a Vietnam era Jeep truck, ade in 1968. It has 27000. miles and is in very good shape for a truck that is 47 years old.. I had this truck now for more than 18 years and did all the work on it. I have installed a very large engine 401 Jeep big block and installed a new rebuilt T-98 4 speed heavy duty. Clutch and fly wheel throw out bearing are all new. Custom wheels where made 16" rims and 38inch mud tires as they look good. Digital lights and a 12 volt conversion was done. This is a "military truck" it is not a soft SUV.. It drives very hard and loud also note it has "manual steering" and no power brakes. Has steering stabilizer front and Dyna 60 front axle and Dayna 70 rear axle with upgraded 4:10 ring an pinion gears, o get the top speed. The speedo is off by 10 mph due to large wheels and gears. There is a solid state ignition on the engine distributor, he engine runs rough as there is a high lift cam in the engine, ngine has an Eldebrok 4 barrel carb as well as a intake manifold, he exhaust has headers and turbo twin exhaust . Brakes are drum type and very good with rebuilt pistons. Front wheels have Selectro wheel locks to engage the wheels. The vacuum gauge in broken as well as the tachometer, he windshield whippers are vacuum operated and not connected to the manifold. The top needs replacement as it has aged. Cost is $300 from bechwood canvas. There is some surface rust but very minor, indow glass is very good seals around the window bottom should be replaced. I am moving over to a m998 and may beloved Jeep has to go.. I live in Denver suburbs and have never taken this Jeep out except Sundays, that represents that I prefer to work on this Jeep than abuse it.. It is a really great eye catcher as every one who has seen me wants to know more about the history and power.. I will ship it any where you want it, s it is now a classic "Ex-military truck" with a few minor changes that are obvious.. I will require a $500 deposit through Paypal and cash on pick up. Bank transfer will do also.. e-mail me at GEOEXPL@YAHOO.COM
