I have a 1970 Jeep Commando for sale that was built by Kaiser Jeep in Dec 1969, bout two months before American Motors took over in february of 1970. These Commandos are highly collectable as they are the last of the Kaiser line. This Commando was purchased new in Arizona, nd farm kept until we brought it to the California desert in May of 2008. We have enjoyed it exploring the High Desert and all around southern California. It still has its original green paint, lt;and desert patina> and has ZERO rust!!! The original V6 engine and three speed floor shift work perfectly, nd this vehicle has very rare power steering. It starts EVERY TIME, ven after siting for weeks, nd has never overheated, ven with our desert heat! It has been completely serviced including- new brakes, heel cylinders, rake lines, new tires, ebuilt carb, lushed gas tank, une up, resh oil change, nd new windshield. It has a roll bar and bikini top with roll up windows in the doors. Its a really fun desert car, ut age and some health issues are forcing me to sell. If you like Kaiser Jeep Commandos, his one is hard to beat. It will take you to places you never thought you could go, nd get you home safely. Rear axel is a Dana limited slip 4.27 #942326 and front axel is Dana 4.27 #994097. California title states 142,000 miles which I do not believe to be correct by looking at the Jeep. I believe the jeep mileage has not turned over.
