Car description

This 1983 Jeep CJ7 Laredo has been my pride and joy for the last year and a half. The Jeep was fully done by Offroad Unlimited in Houston Tx 5 years ago. That owner lost interest and let it sit outside unused. When I bought it I had to do it justice. It has a lot of new parts. I had the steering box replaced, and all suspension parts. Iput inAC for $3K by Custom Car Cool in Houston, heater works well. New Bestop seats front and rear fold forward seatand new Bestop top. New roll bar pad.New Tuffy security stereo Console. Interior bedlined. New Paint $3K by BodyPros in Houston. It has a Turnkey engine supply crate 300Hp 5.3 chevy Vortec EFI engine with their own marine wire harness and marine style computer, ot a junkyard swap,$10K by Offroad Unlimited a couple of years ago. I have heard thatIcon $100K Landcruisersuses them too. Rebuilt Th350 Auto with a low speed converter. One piece hd axleshafts rear. Dana 300 transfer case.Front axle rebuilt as well by previous owner..Doors have new glass and latches for tub. New windshield glass. New headlights and taillights. New 33" BFG Mud terains. Custom stainless long tube headers with flowmasters. Custom BE Cool aluminum radiator $800 with electric fan.. Jeep runs very well. Recent inspection. I like listening to the engine.Has new towbar also that attaches to the new Currie tow bar shackles that I have never used actually. This jeep runs and drives very well at 65 on the highway all day. I built this jeep to cruise to the beach and around town. This is an original sheetmetal jeep and hasno rust that I can see, xcept a tiny amount of mild surface rust on the stainless steel front bumper. The only thing the jeep needs to my knowledge, s a stereo because I never put one in and the original working dash clock is sun faded but still works well. I left the dashoriginal because I liked it. The original Laredo glove box emblem and leather on the grab handle is there although not perfect. You never see that. There is a new electronic oil pressure gauge in the glove box and next to it, new electricwater temperature gauge. Newer water pump and spark plugs.Being a Laredo it has a tilt steering column and newGrant steering wheel. Laredos also come with the desireable 20 gallon factory tank instead of the 15.It could use a tachometer as well, lthough the original clean one is there. All gauges work except the original tachometer because I don't know how to hook it upto the new fuel injected motor, nd the original water temp guage is there but superceded by the new one in the glove box. New dash pull knobs for vents. factory variable speed wipers and horn work. Find a clean chevy lsx swapped Cj with New A/C for this price. all work professionally done. Only 15k miles since engine swap. Original speedometer says 135K miles.Sellling this jeep will make me cry most likely, ut the wife wants another child when I'm ready! It would cost you $30K to duplicate thiswell kept jeep. I am located in Houston Texas.
