For sale is a very dry Colorado FC-150. Been in storage for over 15 years.Thorough and honest photo link here:http://s818.photobucket.com/user/estrucko/media/1957%20FC-150/P1120299_zps8nc95ced.jpg.html The FC-150 was produced between 1957 and 1961. This one is a "Narrow-track" referring to the wheels being inset on the chassis and it has the shorter 81 inch wheelbase vs. the longer on of the FC-170. Basically it's a Jeep/Willys CJ-5 chassis with a Forward Cab and pickup truck body attached. These trucks were industrial workhorses in their day, ow sought after by collectors. This has the original F-134 Hurricane 4 cylinder that came with all FC-150's. Everything is there and complete. The 4wd system has high and low range 4wd and a 3 speed trans. The motor turns freely and the plugs all looked really clean when I pulled them. I was about to crank it over and fire it but decided I'd leave that up to the next owner. Carb is clean and throttle plate and choke plate are working smoothly. It has the original wheels and a vintage dunlop spare. The drivers seat is original material, ut in obvious need of a recovering. Passenger seat looks to be original back with non-original seat bottom in place and is not bolted down. Also, he inside of the truck smells fine, ith zero evidence of mice having been in it.Rubber front wheel flares are intact and in decent shape. The dash has been cut to the right of the speedo, nd had a center tray welded in by PO. I've seen these dashes for as low as 50.00 on ebay.See the photos for the cab corners. There is surface rust and the front two are not straight, nd the front underpan is not straight at all. Again, verything is in the photos. For the glass, he p side is missing, he d side is cracked, nd the rear is cracked. Good news is the windshield is solid, ith one small chip shown in photo link. The bed and tailgate are very good, ith little rust. Comes with the complete welded utility style rack, his can be removed. I was going to toss it, ut depending on how you plan to use the truck it could be very useful.I can see this truck being taken in a few directions, ny of them could turn out really cool...1. Take it as it is, ork on the drivability, ecover interior, nd it'sa nice and complete patina ranch/farm/shop truck.2. Restore it to original spec because it's so complete and repaint the original red color which sits under the blue.3. Go unconventional and drop a big motor in it and spray it flat black or similar and hot rod/drag race/whatever it to your liking. This FC-150 is sold WITHOUT a title, nd only a bill of sale. It's been out of the Colorado system since the early 80's and previous owner had no title. Depending on your state this can be a relatively easy process. In Colorado a new title for this would cost about $30.00 and a the owner filling out appropriate paperwork.Ask questions before bidding if you are unsure. Available for local inspection in Boulder, olorado. If you live far and need to have a transporter pick it up I can facilitate that. If you live in Colorado, elivery for a fee is possible.
