This car was built in the late 1980's into a vintage race car by longtime Jaguar enthusiast in Ohio. Car was campaigned all over the east coast and scoring many victories. About 5 years ago the car was taken off the track and converted to street use using many of the performance parts developed over the last 25 years. Car has a 3. 4 engine built by Jerry Mong I understand the car has racing rods and many other excellent quality parts in the engine. Three 2" SU carbs. Alternator conversion and power steering has been installed. a little noisy when cold. Original radiator with electric cooling fan. Jaguar E-Type close ratio gearbox. Spax adjustable shock absorber's. upgraded front sway bar. Jaguar XK 150 disc and calipers all around and handbrake. Custom made side exiting exhaust system with muffler. Plastic fuel cell. Interior has vinyl covered seats with 3 point retractable seat belts. I am 6' 4" and fit In the car no problem. Original dash retained. Paint is in very nice condition but does have a few nicks and scratches. The custom roll bar is removable. This car would be ideal for road rallies or just for spirited street driving. or with some minor changes could be made back into a full fledged Vintage racer.
