1969 Jaguar E Type 4.2 Auto XKE

Very reluctantly up for sale on behalf of the Owner is a very nice Jaguar XKE this car has a lot of money spent on it and it is almost finished and resdy to go The owner has decided he cannot afford to go on and finish the car and must sell to recoupe some or all of his outlay. I will list all that needs doing to finish the car later first of a list of everything that has been done. this was a good solid driving car when it came to us for paint and trim. first of we took the car back to bare metal then fixed any small amounts of rust we found which not mucn for an E type we have documented pictures of this. the floors are original we did fit a new rocker panel on the drivers side and some minor repairs to the front floor area. The Hood was completly dismantled and put back together using a new front lower valance panel. genuine Jaguar part. the line up now to the bulk head is the best you will see on any E type all of the door gaps are perfect and everything opens and closes with ease. the car has been painted in its Original Silver as it left the Jaguar factory. just look at the photo's to see the quality of finish. All the rubbers on the car are new and there all lots of new rubbers with the car. all windows and glass were removed prior to paint and have been refitted. The front seats have been retrimed in genuine Leather as factory spec. Now for what this car needs to finish it. New fuel tank $800 4 new tires $300 New exhaust old one is with the car could be reused $400 New windshield old one is cracked $300 New set of carpets $225 Headlamp chrome trim's $75 everything else is there just spend a little cash and about three days work and have one of the nicest and genuine 1969 E types on the road we can start the engine for the buyer it runs good with good oil pressure.
