1973 Jaguar E-Type XKE Roadster V12

This is a 1973 Jaguar XKE Roadster with a 5.3 liter V12 and a four speed manual transmission. This is a series III example that replaced the earlier generation in 1971. The underlying architecture remained the same, with independent suspension all around, four-wheel disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, and torsion bars up front. Flared fenders accommodate the wider track, which led to an overall flatter, lower appearance.
This example has had the same owner for over ten years and was recently serviced. The carburetors were rebuilt, all rubber fuel hoses and front brake pads were replaced. The mechanical components are in great working order and the car is ready to go. The bodywork has correctly fitting body panels and the chrome trim is in great condition. The interior leather is in good condition with the proper amount of patina.
