Description
Jaguar Mark V was Jaguar's flagship program. Introduced at London Motor Show 1948 next to Jaguar XK120. The public have favourited the styling of the new Jaguar, which was similar to previous model. Lots of innovative features: new chassis size 120â€, new type of suspension with four wheel hydraulic break system, provide significant improvement.The style was reserved only for four-door sedan and incredible stylish Drop-head Coupe. The style of the car was a mixture of old and new. Traditional lines combined with new features like fenders and front head lights.This Jaguar model was offered with a 2½ or 3½ liter in-line engine. The 3.5-liter V mark used a 3485 cc six-cylinder engine that has already proven its worth in earlier models. He provided good performance at MK V.
MK V turns out to be very popular model for Jaguar until production stopped in 1951. Within three years of production Jaguar made only 577 of Drop-head Coupe ( years of production 1949-1951).
