Car description |
---|
This car was built at the time the factory was transitioning to the production of the very limited 3.8L engine of which only a few Roadsters were produced with in late 1960, and in 1961, before the Series I E-Types were introduced.
According to the previous owner, this example was owned for many decades by a JCNA judge, and restored by him without regard to expense. The body, paint and chrome work remain very nice, and the color combination is fitting to the car’s era. The exact paint shade is light cream. The interior is filled with supple red leather and correct wool carpets, both of which are in very nice condition. The dash retails the original factory gauges, switchgear, and steering wheel, and as such, the car has a very correct appearance. The underside is structurally solid, mechanically tidy, and has clearly been included in the restoration work.
The car runs and drives well. The engine makes good power, and the valve train is well set up and quiet. Clean title in hand.
