· This E Type was built in October 18, 1961 and dispatched to Jaguar dealer in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
· Painted color is Fire-engine Red and the interior is black. It appears to be the original color (from recess area of the monocoque)
· I purchased the car from dealer in Vancouver, BC, Canada in 1981
· Car need complete ground-up restoration. Not running, It rolls and steers
· Car data plate: Car # 875836, Engine R 2024-9. On car: Car # 875836, Cylinder head R 2024-9, on Engine Block R 2024
· Please contact me with your information required and return email address, and I will forward (many) detailed pictures for your information
· This car is complete, many spare parts for originally intended restoration, these will go with the car as part of the package
· The triple carburetor also has the split shaft carb. linkages· Spare parts are imported from XK-Unlimited, Moss or Welsh Jaguar
· The car was taken off the road in 1990 due to my overseas assignment and never licensed again
· Prior to that, it was my summer daily driver, and was running great and had passed all annual government inspections in 1990
· Rear Suspension Unit completely re-built around 63,000 with new stub half-shafts, new brake pads, all new seals, bearings, u-joints and re-setting of all limit-slip clutches, and alignments
· Odometer reads 69,815
· It is strongly suggested that this car be inspected prior to bidding. Local inspector can be appointed to do the physical inspection. Or, in the alternative, contact me with your questions
· It is sold "As is, Where is" with no warranty, expressed or implied
· This car is a great restoration project for somebody looking for the most desirable of all the E-Type models
· Clear British Columbia, Canada title
· This is a LHD 1962 matching numbers Series 1 3.8 E-type Flat-Floor roadster
· Transmission was upgraded to all-synchro unit from a 1965 E-Type
· The first 2,086 Left Hand Drive Series 1 E-Types had flat front floor pans (this is #836) · DataPlate (See picture) Car #875836, Body R2054, Engine R2024-9 · Production of the flat floor plans is to have ceased in May of 1962
· As Per: http://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic.php?t=2559 This car do have the welded in bonnet louvers during production. Bonnet probably replaced in Canada

- Complete new set of interior upholstery kit in black
- New leather seat cover and foams, new top, felt underlays, new tenneau cover, new door panels, new convertible top with installation wood strips and hardware- Spare window winders, various bright works, various light fixtures
- New parking brake cable, new radiator hose, new battery tray and mounting kit, new rubber brake bellow
- New vacuum line for distributor
- New set of front sub-frame mounting bolts, new brake hose (4)
- Numerous new rubber moldings for windows and doors and hood- New front upper and lower ball-joints
- New ignition wire loom, chrome bracket and separator
- New rear trunk carpet and upholstery set new brake and clutch rubber pad
- New instrument rocker switch handle x 6
- New brass SU carburetor needle x 3, New brake light switch
- Numerous misc. other parts: New Brake rotor, brake piston, various briteworks, convertible hardwares, nuts and bolts
