This model was conceived and engineered to replace the famous E-Type lineup for Jaguar and was built from 1975-1996 with many changes and upgrades along the way. Many say that this model is the last true Jaguar that was developed, engineered and put into production by the Jaguar team prior to any outside influences. Pleased to present this rare automobile to the market as so few of these exist with low miles and remain in a stock setup. This car... was sold new out of Crown Jaguar in St. Petersburg FL in October of 1990 and enjoyed for 3 years until being sold out of Motorcars International in Springfield MO to the 2nd owner where he resided in Wisconsin. Car remained in his custody upto 2018 where it was sold from his estate and then recently acquired by us. Vehicle remains in original condition with no modifications to body, interior, powertrain or electronics. This is a true time capsule that deserves a good home. The vehicle was way ahead of its time with great factory features that include; full power seats, heated seats, auto climate control, power convertible top, lumbar support, map lights, cruise control, power windows and mirrors and the iconic 15in lattice wheels. All VIN tags are present on this car and no body work or paint work seem to be done from our review.
Vehicle is preserved in the Signal Red exterior that is complimented nicely with the Barley leather interior with matching red piping that was a huge upgrade when new. The black top is in pristine condition and the boot cover snaps into place with ease. Recent service in past 12 months include; oil and filter change, transmission fluid change, flushed coolant, two new thermostats, new oil pressure sensor and gauge, new battery, new fuel filter, two new fuel pressure regulators, new heater control valve, new hood struts, A/C charged and two new accumulators, all new shocks front and back, new brake pads for front and back and two new front calipers along with full brake fluid flush. New spark plugs, caps and wires were done along with new upper control arm bushings and new steering rack bushings and aligned front end. Just over $2100 in parts alone plus labor. After driving this car it is apparent it was cared for very nicely and there is only an upside for the next owner as these very low production cars are continuing to see an uptick in the market and V12 engines are for sure a thing of the past. Vehicle comes with 3 sets of keys, owner's manuals, a few service receipts and stamps in book and recent part list of repairs.
