Description
1952 Jaguar XK120 Replica
I rebuilt a 1959 TR3A 40 years ago and always loved the lines of the TR3 and the Jaguar XK120 and 140. When I found these XK replicas, I had a mid-mid-mid life crisis and had to buy one. I have always been vertically challenged when it came to the sports cars, so the first thought was that I could always cut the car in half and extend it a foot or so. In the interim, I removed the drivers seat and put in a shell seat with a pad in it. However, reality has caught up with me and it is just too much of a pain to try and lower myself into the car. Getting out an even bigger exercise, so I am facing reality and selling this car. Time to go back into a full size convertible.
Actually titled as a 1995 Jaguar built on a Ford Mustang frame with a Ford 302 V8 and automatic transmission. The original driver's seat has been removed to allow the current owner to "fit in the car and drive itâ€, but does come with the car. This car has a Tourneau cover and a convertible top with "zip in side curtains" for all weather driving. Everything works and a lot of fun to drive, I just can't get in or out of it easily.
Also available for sale locally so ad will be removed when car sells.
