The car is complete and runs, motor has a noise, found in a barn in Indiana (see original barn photos included). This car has been in storage almost 40 years. We were even stupid enough to part out a external lock FHC yearsago before these cars had any real value or the importanceof early cars was even realized. The FHC is beyonda doubt more appealingaestheticallythan a convertible and far fewer survived. We just returned from Ameliaisland there was only one FHC and many convertibles and god awful 2+2's for sale in all four auctions the XKE's garnered more attention and bids than any other marques if this is indicative of where these car were headingwe witnessed other dealers paying $100,000 plus for unrestored cars. The only FHC was ironically opalescentsilver blue and not perfectly restored and it fetched $179,200 almost as much as a far better restored restored Series 1 convertible, all of the rest of the convertibles sold for less than the FHC. Very rare very desirable original opalescent silver blue car over Dark Blue Hides. Export is not a problem we have bought, sold, and exported hundreds of Jaguar XKE's.
