Car description |
---|
This is a beautiful 1987 Jaguar XJ6 is a Series III sedan, nothing else like it. 1987 was the last year of the true hand-built jags. It's literally like a brand new 31 year old car. This car is all original. Even has the original tires that came from the factory.
The exterior is finished in Moorland green and the interior is trimmed in tan leather with contrasting burl wood on the console, dash, and door panels. The Jaguar-branded tape deck remains in place and the 6-digit odometer showing less than 12000 original miles, approximately 500 of which have been added by the current owner.
The fuel-injected, twin-cam 4.2L straight-six shifts through a BorgWarner 3-speed automatic transmission. A/C is very cold and has been converted to 134a but needs frequent recharge due to freon leak some where. Also has a small transmission oil leak and headline just being to sag in a few places. Car drives very nicely, just as you would expect from a high-end classic.
