Car description |
---|
I am a collage student, about to move and start my life with my fiancé, but unfortunately can only take one car with me. When I got this car, it was in a bad condition, barely running. However, over the years, I put work into it, and brought it back from limping to sprinting. I've taken good care of it, but now am searching for a new home for it.
About the car:
She is a great hobby car, and is easy to work on. She is in road-ready condition, so upon purchase, you can drive her straight home. The car has a moon roof, and comes with some spare/replacement parts, sheep skin seat covers, a car cover, and the original Vanden Plas cassette tape (A collector's dream, I hope).
The carpets have been properly restored, the seats are very comfortable and have adjustable lumbar support. It has the classic body shape/style, nice interior lighting, the original speakers are in great condition, and it has great suspension, guaranteeing a smooth, comfortable ride. All in all, she's in good condition. However, not perfect...
There are a few cons. The retractable antenna is stuck in extended position, so if you want to push it down, you need to get it unstuck first. There's minor rust in areas near rear wheels, and a minor dent next to the passenger side headlight.
On the interior, the radio has cold solder joint causing intermittency, air conditioning needs repaired, as it doesn't work (heat does, but is intermittent). Switches in the front will roll rear windows down, while the rear switches will roll them back up. Vise versa, the rear switches will roll it up but not down (electrical issue). Cruise control does not work. The rear break light inside car is not attached to the glass, but is fully functional. The speedometer can stick but is accurate when it is working. The rear map lights need replacement bulbs, but they aren't required. The leather seats have damage, but are still in fair condition. The central console computer is intermittent. Cassette player doesn't work.
Even with the cons, it is still an amazing car. It hurts to let it go, but I hope she will have a good home.
