A few photos needing description:
---------------------------------------------
> interior storage locker, don't get excited about seeing the fire extinguisher, at JAGM
judged scoring events, you lose 1 pt if the car doesn't carry such a safety item in the vehicle.
> to right and left of the interior locker are almost triangular carpet pieces, if those are removed,
one can see down into the frame of the vehicle. I am told the original cloth sound proofing
absorbs water from under the vehicle, and rots out the frame at these locations.
The photos show this frame area is not rotted out and the material has been removed.
> photo showing 20MPH was done while driving (its not a 0 MPH offset error)
> in 3 photos, orange stuff is visible, that is excess glue slopped on by Jaguar when the car was made
Known defect:
-------------------
> front wind screen at upper left corner shows what I think is de-lamination between the
safety glass plates. This glass defect is not in the viewing area used by the driver.
The defect area is clear and about 2 inches by 1 inch. It is invisible in the photo. This appears to be a glass manufacturing defect and has not grown in size during our ownership.
To the purist, the following are items modified:
-------------------------------------------------------------
> seat belt loops from Chevy Cavelier (I didn't have the heart to put holes through new seat leather,
these can be removed and are screwed to the wood bottoms in the head rests;
these prevent seat belts from rubbing against the seat leather, plus they hold the seat
belt out from the seat for comfort at the shoulder for large fellows like me)
> automatic power antenna for going up and down
> "seat belt start inhibit" switch has been de-activated (the original 1974 set up was the car
would not start unless you wore the seat belt properly clicked in)
> unused far right dash switch can activate the radiator fans manually
(normal coolant thermo switch at the radiator works too)
> engine carb balance tubes are chromed (originals were toxic cadmium plated.. no joke)
> air filter boxes and trumpets are chromed (originals were gray)
> Opus ignition replaced by Pertronixs system > fuel pump was replaced with a solid state breakerless pump (SU 377-335 from Moss Motors)
> the convertable top is 2 sided cloth (from a German company), JAGM scoring allows this
non original roof as a substitution (no pinch point damage from roof frame)
Other Vehicle Servicing from 2001 to 2009: (beyond basic maintenance)
---------------------------------------------------------
modernized the fuel pump and ignition, replace engine crank shaft end seals, many various gaskets, belts, hoses, steering pump, steering rack, coolant pump, fuses, carbs rebuilt, replaced every relay, installed louder turn indicator sounder, cleaned and epoxy coated fuel tank inside & outside...
Other items sold with the vehicle:
--------------------------------------------
> service history in Excel spreadsheet format
> original window sticker (see photo)
> original owners manual
> 2 sets of engine compartment water drip shields / fins (not installed to help show engine in photos)
> all the receipts I have for servicing (plus those from first and second owners)
> service manuals and parts catalog
> vinyl rear boot mat
> additional rear boot trim pieces and original carpeting (not sure why I saved it)
> tannau cover
> 6 new unused oil filters (the weird shape these vehicles need)
> 16 new unused air filters
> 3 new unused fuel filters
> a new unused A/C dryer for when time comes to convert to R123 or R134
> other parts I've saved up
Interior & rear boot carpeting, new seat leather are from Alridge Trimming (UK).

Below are some questioned emailed to us...--------------------------------------------------------------
Yes the engine block and body numbers match.
Yes the car I believe was either repainted and.or clear coated in the 1980s.Its the 1 receipt I'm missing to know exactly what was done paint-wise.
The original vehicle color is Primrose Yellow. The paint in the fuse panel access areainside the dash board and all the other strange places in the vehicle are also Primrose Yellow.
