According to the previous and second caretaker, his E-Type is said to have remained with its original owner, n architect, rom 1969 until 2013. Carefully stored in a heated garage by its long-term owner Mr. Robert Halander, locking about 80,000 miles over the course of its lifetime before deciding in 2004 to commission a ground-up restoration entrusted to two well-known restoration establishments.Jaguar expert Walt Osborn of Vintage Jag Works was retained for mechanical aspects of the restoration, hile body and paintwork was performed by Troy Lundquist Restorations of Sandy, tah. The Jaguar's original leather upholstery and trim were carefully preserved rather than restored and highly compliment the exterior's British Racing Green. The bright work was also re-chromed, hile the matching numbers 4.2-liter straight six engine was rebuilt.
